❤️ Starfish Dogs Foundation — Every Dog Deserves Love, Compassion, and a Second Chance!
At Starfish Dogs Foundation, our mission is rooted in a simple belief: No one should have to say goodbye to a beloved dog simply because they cannot afford necessary veterinary care. And every rescued dog deserves a second chance at a loving, healthy, pain-free life — or compassionate and dignified end-of-life care when that is the kindest option.
We raise and distribute funds to help cover veterinary bills, medications, food, and ongoing medical needs for dogs who might otherwise go without care.
❤️ Five Years of Making a Difference!
Over the past five years, thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters, we have:
🐾 Successfully placed 59 rescued pups with loving families, giving them the second chances they deserve.
🐾 Provided compassionate end-of-life support to ensure dogs facing their final days receive comfort, dignity, and love.
🐾 Helped veterans and low-income families afford essential medications and veterinary care so their beloved companions can remain by their sides.
🐾 Supported dogs who have been abused, neglected, overbred, or abandoned, helping them receive the medical attention and care they desperately need.
And as local shelters continue to face overwhelming numbers of dogs in need, we've expanded our efforts to include fostering pups from Bradshaw and Front Street Animal Shelters.
Sometimes saving a dog's life means finding a new home. Other times, it means helping them stay in the home where they are already loved. Both are equally important to our mission.

Our History
Our History
Starfish Dogs became a reality based on a pup named June. In 2019, a volunteer was contacted by a rescue that had just raided a puppy mill. Fosters were needed to take in dogs, many that were old, sick and dying. June was one of those dogs. Yet, they needed love, compassion and health care and to know they were cared for. However, monies were scarce for veterinary services these dogs needed. Volunteers were willing to step up and give these dogs, like June a second chance. They just needed a little help. There are many dogs like June who deserve a chance to be loved. Starfish Dogs is here to help, one dog at a time.
